December, Cosmetic Surgery’s Busiest Time

December's almost over, you go under the knife yet?

The Wall Street Journal reports that the last months of the year is the busiest for plastic surgeons, cosmetic dermatologists and doctors who perform weight loss operations; The months can carry twice the workload of the other months.

"With surgeons in December, you can have some unhappy spouses," said Dr. Franklin Rose, a Houston-based plastic surgeon who said he performed 20 activities a week during December, causing him to miss out on the celebrations of holiday.

The reason for this most wonderful time of year is the most popular for those who choose surgery? Repo for the holidays can be used for recuperation.

"People like to hide out and heal," Debra Jaliman, a New York dermatologist, said the WSJ.
